The success of ReProTex is impressive, even the corona crisis cannot change that. Founded in 2012, the company developed its own patented mobile industrial water treatment system, which was introduced to the market in 2016. After the first few years of business activity were characterised by research and development costs and acquisition investments, the company was able to break even for the first time in 2019. This successful path is now being continued. The accounting figures for the month of May 2020 are currently available and, as in the first four months of the year, the water recycler from Upper Austria was once again able to increase its sales and pre-tax profit compared to the previous year. By April 2020 ReProTex had achieved sales of EUR 308.224. With the sale of a container to England in May, turnover from January to May 2020 was increased to over EUR 480.000, an increase of 254% compared to the previous year. This trend is also continuing for the profit before taxes. The company was able to record a pre-tax profit of more than EUR 200.000 for the current year at the end of May. In the same period of the previous year, the company was still in the loss zone with EUR -77.965.
A cautious outlook for the second half of the year shows that ReProTex can continue its successful path. Due to the current tense economic situation, it remains difficult to plan the realisation of the projects in terms of time. Nevertheless, ReProTex assumes that two to four mobile water recycling systems can be sold in the second half of the year.
