ReProTex: Half-year financials & funding threshold reached

Half-year financials confirm successful track of the Clean-Tech company

So, there it is after all, the good news from the business sector. Already in July the Upper Austrian manufacturer of mobile plants for industrial water treatment, ReProTex, reported an increase in sales and profit before taxes for May. Now a very positive result has also been drawn for the entire first half of 2020. In June 2020, sales of EUR 103.300 were recorded, which resulted on the one hand from the down payment of a sold plant to Japan and a payment from a project in the Netherlands. After deducting this month’s costs, profit before taxes will increase by a further EUR 44.780.

A look at the figures for the first half of the year, which was dominated by Covid-19, allows ReProTex to look positively into the second half of the year. Approximately EUR 590.000 turnover was achieved through sales or rentals of the world’s first mobile closed loop water treatment system. Compared to the previous year, this represents an impressive increase of 245 %. The situation is no different after deduction of costs in the pre-tax result: while the Clean-Tech company had to record a loss of EUR 90.000 in the first half of 2019, ReProTex reported a profit of approximately EUR 250,000 in the same period of 2020.

Funding threshold reached

Not only the financial figures promise to be positive, there is also good news from the current crowd-investing campaign. The funding threshold of EUR 120.000 was recently reached. This means that the transaction can be executed after the end of the funding period. The ReProTex team, together with the crowd-investing specialists from Danube Angels, is delighted to have reached this milestone and to have gained the trust of over 30 investors.

Until 31 August 2020, there is still the opportunity of investing equity in the green campaign of ReProTex and thus becoming part of an Austrian CleanTec success story. With its technology, ReProTex achieves a worldwide unique reduction in water consumption of 95 % and cost savings of up to 70 % in construction sites and cleaning processes.
